Arinze started off his career as a Content Designer at Meta, where he designed product features that helped protect users from sensitive content across Facebook, Messenger, and Instagram.

Before joining Meta, Arinze worked in e-commerce, strategy and business development roles at top global companies such as Sanofi, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, and Chocolate City Records (Warner Music Group Africa).

Arinze made his editorial debut in 2021 with his appointment as Managing Editor of A Nasty Boy, Nigeria’s pioneer LGBTQ+ culture magazine, where he oversaw the magazine’s editorial operations.

An avid supporter of diversity and inclusion, Arinze is a recipient of The Diana Award, created in memory of the late Princess of Wales, and renowned as the most prestigious award a young person aged 9-25 can receive for driving positive social action. Four years after receiving the award, Arinze served as a Judge for the 2021 Diana Awards, tasked with selecting the next cohort of global changemakers.

As a Schwarzman Scholar at Tsinghua University, Arinze completed his master’s degree in Global Affairs, with his research focusing on AI policy. Prior to that, Arinze graduated valedictorian of his class at the African Leadership University (ALU) in Mauritius with a first-class honours degree in Business Management.

A few months after graduating from undergrad, Arinze made history as he became the first African from an African university to be admitted to the deferred MBA programs at the Stanford Graduate School of Business and Harvard Business School.

Before founding Kenga, Arinze co-founded two ventures—Designish and EarlyAdmit—to create a community of African tech designers and help students from underrepresented minority backgrounds get into the world’s top business schools.

Arinze is Nigerian and is a Ravenclaw.
