Thank you for today's newsletter! I think the audio recording is a great idea. It allows us to connect with you and your writing more. I read today's piece in your voice.
I do agree with the power of community. It allows us to take agency of our lives and having a group of friends with similar interests keeps us going in both good and tough times.
Thank you for your insights on reading and discipline as well. Early last year, I read a book from your reading list then, Emotional Agility by Susan David and it's one of the few books I find myself going back to re-read chapters (and harry potter too, lol). Most at times, it's difficult for me to re-read a book and highlighting has been a great way for me to circumvent this!
Anyway, have a good day and do continue with the voice notes.
Life has been life-ing. So sorry, I'm just getting to this. Thank you for your feedback on the audio recording. I included it again in this week's newsletter 🤗
Emotional Agility has been on my to-read for a while! This is the sign I needed to bump it up a few steps on the list. And you're a Harry Potter stan too? As you should! 😌 Also, please share with me some of those highlights if you can. Would love to read.
Hi Arinze! Thank you for your newsletter. It's a handy reminder that I need to pick up reading this year, not just because it's an effective way to practice discipline but will also help expand my mind.
Also, feedback on the voice note is to please replace the background music with lofi beats for people with focus struggles.
I'm so happy you enjoyed the newsletter! Thanks for the feedback on the newsletter. I removed the distracting music in this week's newsletter. Lemme know what you think 🙈
Hey Christine! I've heard good reviews about WILL. I'll see if there's a summary on Blinkist. And thank you for your feedback on the audio note! I added it to this week's newsletter too 🤗
It's so great to hear from you, Victor! I'll definitely keep doing audio recordings. I added another one to this week's newsletter. Lemme know what you think of it 🙈 And yesss! Intentionality in friendships is even something I need to do better at myself. I think how I manage (and show up in) my friendships could use some work.
A great read! (as per usual ) a book you should consider reading (If you haven't already ) is Feck Perfuction by James Victore ! it's a short read but quite Impactful .
Also decided to read a lot more this year and work on recalling and applying to my life. I’m using Notion to create databases of what I’ve read, but will also find other ways e.g. writing reviews to ensure I have assimilated the information I’ve read. I appreciate the tip on using Blinkist to read some books. Will give that a try.
If possible, please also share with me that database when you have like 10 books on there. I'd love to follow what you're reading. Or actually, you can also use Goodreads to document your reading.
The voice note is a GREAT idea, please keep it going! I'll definitely keep looking out for these little nuggets weekly (assuming Arinze's Weekly is back to being weekly 🙃).
Haha have a little faith 🤣 We'll definitely do our best to have Arinze's Weekly become weekly again 🙈 If I fail, you'll be partly responsible for not reminding me 💀 Signed, management lol
Nice read. The function of the Blinklist app reminded me of Malcolm Gladwell's book titled "Blink". It's the ability to get the whole/ meaning of a subject at a glance.

Hello Arinze,
Thanks for the newsletter,
You should definitely continue the Audio recordings, i think the impact of commuinity on the lives of people is not talked about enough.
Intentionality, accountability and investment in friendships is something i am learning, rather late, but better now than never.
Id love to hear about your experience!
Have a great week!

OMG! I'm sold on that title alone! I'm adding it to my to-read!!!
