Change is hella scary because of all the uncertainty around it but one thing I am sure is that it confirms that one is not stagnant. In terms of mechanisms, I personally do the things I love in order to deal with stress...activities like dancing or even just listening to music.
I think what matters most is fulfillment. And reminding myself “why” I chose to pursue a thing over the other helps me a lot to keep going. Most importantly, friends and mentors whom I share my aspirations play a very significant role by always being supportive and an external source of motivation. So in as much as I can get scared, stressed and anxious, I keep the faith man.

Funny enough, my therapist recommended something similar (doing more artsy stuff) to combat the stress/anxiety that comes with uncertainty.
