Lovvee the article, it reminds me of the book, the outliers by Malcom Gladwell. Talent and hard work are necessary for success but they are not the only determinants, way more things are at play.

Exactly! MG's 'Outliers' basically expanded on the idea here. There's a lot of luck that goes into success. But also some degree of intentionality when it comes to creating one's fortune by carefully crafting one's network.
